Job DetailsJob Location Boys and Girls Club Truckee Meadows - Reno, NV Position Type Full Time Salary Range $41600.00 - $44000.00 Salary Job DutiesPOSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Compliance Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows by overseeing fingerprinting, background checks, and all compliance-related tasks for new hires, employees, and volunteers. This position is responsible for coordinating and conducting live-scan fingerprinting, processing reference checks, and maintaining accurate records of background screenings. The Compliance Coordinator provides live-scan fingerprinting support to multiple locations throughout the Reno/Sparks area and supports fingerprinting services in the Club's rural sites across Northern Nevada. This role also serves as a liaison to The Children's Cabinet, providing fingerprinting support to their members as needed. Success in this role requires exceptional administrative and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards.   • Fingerprint Live Scan responsibilities:
    • Coordinate/complete fingerprint live scans for all BGCTM new hiresand new volunteers
    • Provide fingerprinting services for Children's Cabinet members as requested
    • Submit all scans to Nevada Dept of Public Safety
    • Track and record all background check reports, escalating all findings as appropriate
    • Train and support all individuals conducting live scans in the rural locations
    • Process and submit all weekly reporting summarizing scans completed
    • Troubleshoot and address all issues with the fingerprint machines
  • Reference Check responsibilities:
    • Conduct reference checks as required for all BGCA new hires and volunteers
    • Track and record all responses
  • Compliance responsibilities include:
    • Submit all CANS requests
    • Coordinate and ensure compliance for all mandatory trainings (CPR, Safety Skills, Spillet, etc.)
    • Prepare reports for all background check audits (BGCA, Children's Cabinet, grants, etc.)
    • Complete all annual background re-checks
    • Complete all Verifications of Employment
    • Coordinate quarterly Random Drug Screens
    • Support all 30/60/90 Day new hire evaluations
    • Provide notary services to the Club as needed.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Passion for the mission and values of the Boys & Girls Club.
  • Driver's license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record required.
CERTIFICATIONS/ASSOCIATIONS:
  • After hire, will receive mandatory paid training, including Safety Skills, CPR/First Aid, etc.
  • After hire, will be registered with Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of work experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Must be able to perform duties which require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time. May occasionally be required to kneel, run and/or climb.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer, use the telephone and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift, move manipulate and or hold objects up to 45 pounds. Objects that exceed the 45-pound weight limit require additional assistance when moving, lifting or manipulating.
