Primary Purpose and Essential Functions
Faculty in the Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) & Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) Program in the School of Health Sciences ( SHS ) will collaborate in fulfilling the Universitys mission to provide a superior, student-centered learning experience integrating liberal arts and professional education and preparing individuals for lasting achievement and responsible leadership in their careers and communities. The Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor will deliver content as needed within the program, with consideration of areas of expertise throughout the DMSc/DHSc program. Reports to the Program Director for the Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) and Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) program, School of Health Sciences ( SHS ). This is an adjunct, nontenure track clinical instructor appointment. Academic rank (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) commensurate with experience. Essential Functions:

Occasional lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is primarily performed on-line in a remote location during standard business hours, Pacific time zone. Availability for students, faculty and staff during program hours 8AM 5PM Pacific time zone is expected, regardless of time-zone where the work is performed. Some events on weekends/evenings are to be expected and will be scheduled with advance notice. Occasional travel to the three (3) university campuses, as well as off-site locations to support recruitment and alumni events. Participation in school-wide meetings virtually and occasional events on-campus as needed.
Hiring Range
Hiring Range $4,000.00 - $7,500.00 per term. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
