Description Honda of North Hollywood has an opportunity for a best of the best technician. If you have a proven track record of top performance, you might be able to join our gorgeous, well established, family owned dealership.While other stores are downsizing techs due to the sluggish economy, our shop is enjoying continued growth. Be prepared to provide performance reports reflecting your high productivity, efficiency and CSE. We understand that top performers are look for top compensation and benefits.Here's what you'll be doing: Perform the work on each repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards Address the customer's primary concern with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations Perform Electronic Multi Point Inspection on every vehicle Notify the Service Advisor immediately if the car has more problems than you thought, less than you thought, or if those problems are going to take up more time than you thought Master our Dealer Management System (Dealertrack) , Pencilwrench and Mykaarma for time keeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes and communication Keep your workspace in ship shape and can always account for all dealership-owned tools Ace your assigned factory-sponsored training classes Maintain knowledge of all factory technical bulletins Leave no trace in a customer's car by keeping it clean Understand federal, state and local regulations Other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess: Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required Prior automotive technician work experience, factory trained and/or manufacturer certified is preferred Self-motivated, goal-oriented, enthusiastic presence with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Work effectively and efficiently as an individual and in a team environment. Have and maintain an excellent driving record.
