Most services are conducted in group home settings and day program settings. LIFE, Inc. is looking for someone to review and inspect all aspects of the day-to-day operation at each facility. This person would travel and review all facilities monthly and assure policy and procedures are being followed as well as finding areas for improvement. Job DutiesComplete random, scheduled, and audit inspections at all LIFE Inc. facilities Review and recommend areas of improvement for each location and follow up to ensure corrective actions and results.Attend area meetings to assist regions in maintaining current information in regard to all rules and regulations.Follow and monitor plans of correction from state surveys.Review and recommend revisions to inspection forms to ensure all ICF/IDD, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations are being adhered to.Monitor, schedule, and assure completion of annual disaster drills, to include fire, tornado, workplace violence, power outages, etc.Participate and oversee the full Quality Assurance and Improvement program for LIFE, Inc.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field Thorough understanding in the QA/QI process or the clinical settingSkills and requirements for the positionSedentary work, normally with frequent sitting in office or vehicle for extended periods of timeAbility to operate a computer and basic office functionsdrivers license, and reliable transportationBe able to convey detailed information to others Be able to work in an environment with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities Be able to lift 40 poundsWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
