Serving children in PK3 through 5th grade, LAMB is a community that is committed to children and promotes peace and equality for all.Job OverviewUnder the direction of the BASE Director, the Coordinator will assist in the administration and supervision of the Before & After School Enrichment (BASE) Program. This person is responsible for supporting BASE operations, staff development, and ensuring student safety in accordance with BASE policies and protocols.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of LAMB's BASE programs (before-care, aftercare, enrichment, and summer) to provide an enriching student experience. Oversee daily operations alongside the BASE DirectorManage essential documents (registration, attendance, staffing lists, program plans) and ensure adherence to policies, deadlines, and health/safety regulationsSupport, mentor, and oversee BASE staff, contractors, and volunteers. Assist with training, performance management, and team-building effortsCommunicate with parents regarding student needs and support instructors in documenting concerns. Oversee safe dismissal and manage late pick-up proceduresOversee afterschool enrichment classes and assist with planning BASE Summer Program and LAMB's annual International DayAttend required training and meetings to maintain program effectivenessPerform other tasks as assigned to support the success of LAMB's BASE programBasic QualificationsExperience in administration of an educational or enrichment program and in working with school-age children, with an affinity for Montessori or progressive teaching and learning practicesBilingual in English and SpanishCollaborative, team-oriented positive attitudeAbility to meet all employment requirements including a thorough background checkBachelor degree preferred, associate's degree requiredPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
