Qualifications Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments Ability to wear all required PPE (steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, and other PPE as required) Ability to lift up to 65lbs or more Ability to read and understand work orders Knowledge in navigating different computer programs The operator may be required to operate a forklift Ability to communicate with employees Language skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, simple checklists, short correspondence, and memos Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and in small group situations Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ration and percent Reasoning skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form Responsibilities Follow all Company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance Perform duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to management General housekeeping duties must be completed each shift Operator must be able to learn the different types of scrap we run and segregate Assist operator on start up and shut down, on changing screens, and cleaning die Ensure materials are set up for the order and for incoming personnel (boxes, skids, cores, or other needed material) Other tasks as assigned by Management, Supervisor or Lead Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area Shift: 5:00pm-5:00am LOCATION Thomson, Georgia 30824 PAY $$17/hr
