As a full-time CSR, you'll play a critical role in the daily operations of our practice and help ensure that every pet and pet parent receives outstanding care from the moment they walk through the door. What You'll Do:Welcome clients (two- and four-legged) with warmth and professionalismAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and keep our schedule running like clockworkHandle invoices, estimates, payments, and end-of-day reports like a proProvide empathetic support during stressful situations - you're a rock for our clientsMaintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobbyEducate clients on wellness plans, products, and services we offerKeep records accurate and updated - including lab results, referral info, and intake paperworkCoordinate patient check-ins to ensure all information is up to date and ready to go What You Bring to the Pack:Previous experience in a veterinary or medical front desk role is a plusComfortable using computers, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), and standard office equipmentStrong communication skills - clear, kind, and professionalAn understanding of veterinary terminology and the ability to communicate it effectivelyAbility to triage phone and lobby inquiries (Is it an emergency or a nail trim?)Excellent time management and multitasking skillsA friendly, team-oriented attitude and a sense of humorWillingness to be seated for most of the day, while still staying mentally on your toes Perks & Benefits:401K with Company Match - 100% up to 3%, 50% up to 5%Employee Assistance Program - because your mental health matters too (includes Headspace)A supportive, family-like team that works hard but also actually likes each otherOpportunities to grow and thrive in your role About Us:Stamford Veterinary Center opened its doors in 2016 and quickly became a trusted part of the community.
