About This RoleTaylor's Construction is looking to hire a Flagger who provides safe traffic control for construction and utility projects by directing motorists and ensuring the safety of both workers and the public. This role is critical to maintaining order and protecting work zones.
What You'll DoDirect traffic flow using signs, signals, and hand gestures
Set up and remove traffic control equipment before and after work shifts
Maintain situational awareness and adjust to traffic conditions
Follow safety guidelines and instructions from supervisors
Communicate hazards or incidents to crew leadership
Keep work zone free of obstructions and debris
What You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of certified flagger training course
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions
Strong attention to safety and surroundings
Reliable transportation to various job sites
Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
