Their real estate group is consistently ranked among the top-10 global and US real estate lenders, and they are continually expanding their platform and into new product areas.Position Overview: We are seeking an AVP to support a leading originator and their team in screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting, and documentation of potential CMBS Conduit CRE loan opportunities. You will be responsible for completing full loan due diligence and assisting with Asset Summary Reports required for securitization. This role offers exposure to the full spectrum of conduit loan originations, pricing, capital markets, and other activities in commercial real estate lending and securitization.Essential Job Functions: Provide analytical support in the screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting, and closing of commercial real estate loansWork closely with senior underwriters in preparing credit committee reports, including cash flow, risks, borrower/sponsor, and market analysisPerform site inspections, determine market comparables for property valuation and asset summaries, and complete tenant analysesReview third-party reports, property leases, and financial statements during due diligenceAssist with loan closings and procure necessary closing itemsQualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution4+ years' experience in CMBS loan underwriting or similarExcellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamStrong financial modeling and Excel skillsValid driver's licenseNote: This job description is not all-inclusive. Compensation is determined through interviews, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
