The Lyndex-Nikken brand represents high quality and accuracy, working seamlessly to improve the efficiency and precision of CNC machining processes.Position Purpose:In the role of Regional Sales Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include the cultivation of new business opportunities in your designated territory and the maintenance and growth of relationships with current clients. Your key objectives will revolve around establishing strong client connections and achieving sales targets. You will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve their business goals by delivering product solutions you can take pride in. The Regional Sales Engineer will be the front-line contact between Lyndex-Nikken and the customer. This position reports to the Regional Manager.Essential Functions:Identify, nurture, and successfully close business deals with both new and established end user and authorized distribution customers.Meet or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.Regularly travel ~50% to distributors and end-user sites, assessing customer needs and offering solutionsMaintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activitiesProvide ongoing technical training, new product updates, demonstrations, and promotions to distribution channel sales partners.Present new product information and corporate initiatives to sales channelsPrepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and presentations to enhance key account growth and engagementCollect, utilize and share market data and trends with Regional Sales Manager to expand company market share within the territoryParticipate in trade shows, conferences as well as other marketing events to differentiate Lyndex-Nikken's high quality/precision product value proposition.Utilize our CRM for all prospecting and customer activitiesAssist the Regional Sales Manager in planning, forecasting and managing the territoryRequired Knowledge and Abilities:Strong self-organization, prioritization, schedule and planning abilities to make efficient use of time and resources when scheduling sales activitiesSolid working knowledge of CNC machineryStrong presentations and professional written/oral communication skills will all levels of customers (from staff to upper management)Able to identify customer needs and sell based on quality solutions rather than just priceCandidate should live within the territory near major customer groups3 years of sales experience in the machine tool or adjacent industry.Why Lyndex-Nikken?In return for experience and results, Lyndex-Nikken provides competitive compensation including an attractive base salary, uncapped commissions, and offers:Automobile, fuel, insurance, maintenance, tolls, etc.Credit card for business expensesComputer and phone401K with eligibility for company matchPaid floating holidays, vacation and sick days.Subsidized health and dental insurance for employee and dependentsLong-term disability, travel and accident insurance, life insurance Lyndex-Nikken is an equal-opportunity employer.
