Job Summary:
Indigo Manor is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance operations at our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead maintenance staff and activities. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance. Oversee repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment. Collaborate with departments to resolve maintenance issues and improve resident satisfaction. Prepare and manage the maintenance budget. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff. Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in facility maintenance management, preferably in healthcare or senior living. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail. Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills.
