Job DescriptionOur staffing agency is excited to partner with a leading provider of digital printing and document management solutions organization in Philadelphia, PA, to hire a Cutter Machine Operator. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating cutting equipment and working in a high-volume print or reprographics environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring printed materials are cut with precision and delivered to clients on time and error-free.Location: Philadelphia, PAPay: $20-$23/hourlySchedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm or Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30amKey Responsibilities:Operate cutting machines to trim and finish large-format printed materials (e.g., posters, signage, blueprints, banners)Read and interpret job tickets and specifications to determine correct cut sizes and tolerancesSet up and calibrate cutting equipment based on material type and job requirementsInspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and quality before packagingWork closely with print operators and project managers to meet production deadlinesMaintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the cutting and finishing areaPerform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with cutting equipmentFollow all company procedures and safety guidelinesQualifications:1+ years of experience operating paper or large-format cutters in a print production environmentStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to read production tickets and use measurement tools accuratelyBasic mechanical skills and comfort working with industrial equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsHigh school diploma or equivalent required All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
