Examples of Duties Key Responsibilities:Clinical Instruction:Lead discussions and elicit information from students to assess their learning and achievement of clinical objectives.Teach students how to perform duties in the clinical site and answer their questions.Maintain clinical standards and course expectations throughout each course or term.Provide a supportive learning environment.Student Assessment and Feedback:Provide feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and clinical site staff.Other Responsibilities:Adhere to class schedules and meeting times.Submit reports in a timely manner.Prioritize duties and use time wisely.Provide effective classroom/lab supervision.Participate in departmental meetings and activities.Typical Qualifications Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.Preferred Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing. Successful teaching and leadership experience in a nursing education program or clinical educator role in a healthcare setting. Licensed (or eligible) to practice Nursing in South Carolina.
