Ability to communicate clearly in English and prepare clear, concise, and grammatically correct correspondence.Demonstrated experience in reviewing documents such as policies and/or procedures, reports, etc. for quality assurance purposes.Demonstrated experience in communicating information or providing feedback to coworkers, contractors, and/or customers.Demonstrated experience in using and maintaining large spreadsheets and electronic databases.Skilled in successfully utilizing MS Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in managing contracts and/or projects.Demonstrated experience in creating and manipulating large data sets in Excel with the ability to use complex formulas, conditional formatting, tables, and graphs.Demonstrated experience maintaining highly confidential program records and equipment inventory.Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance and/or training.Bachelor's degreeKnowledge of Texas and Federal Tobacco Laws and Regulations Job Description The Grant Specialist is responsible for providing entry level professional support to a grant. This includes anayzling and interpreting data, and conducting audits as needed or required. Job Duties Monitor contract compliance such as performance, deliverables, invoicing, closeout, extension, budget adjustments, and renewalsMaintain highly confidential program records and equipment inventoryCompile, create, analyze, and report data on a frequent basis using databases and Excel worksheets with advanced formats and formulasMaintain large databases with uploaded documents, spreadsheets, audio, video, and other current program information. Ensure attention to detail, data accuracy, and integrity on all work platformsConduct monthly, and quarterly program process audits to report to program management.Serve as point of contact to assigned contractors conducting field operationsProvide training and technical assistance to external contractorsEnsure attention to detail, data accuracy, and integrity on all work platformsConduct internet research to maintain current policy information and to provide instruction and direction to ContractorsOther duties as assigned Additional Information to Applicants FDA Program continued employment is contingent upon passing a level 5 background check conducted by FDA to be commissioned.This position is funded via a federal contract.
