Job Description: Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures for crew members on board the cruise ship- Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards- Provide training and education to crew members on topics such as hygiene, disease prevention, and emergency response- Monitor and assess the health status of crew members and provide appropriate medical care as needed- Collaborate with shipboard medical staff to ensure proper medical protocols and supplies are in place- Develop and maintain relationships with local health authorities and medical facilities in ports of call- Investigate and report any incidents or outbreaks of illness on board and implement measures to prevent further spread- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all crew members- Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to public health and safety on board vesselsRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or a related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public health or occupational health role, preferably in a maritime setting- Knowledge of international health regulations and standards- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods of time at seaWorking Place: Miami, FL, United States
