We're committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone's empowered to be their best.Penn Machine Company, a Marmon|Berkshire Hathaway Company, is a 100+ year old local company that is a leading manufacturer of products and services for the transit, railroad, mining, general industry, and oil & gas industries.We are searching for a full-time Quality Technician with strong inspection background and nondestructive testing experience (mag particle and/or UT).Primary responsibilities also include:Perform and document various inspections, including incoming, in-process, final, and source inspectionsNondestructive testing (UT, Mag particle, FARO)Internal and process auditsCustomer documentation packetsParticipation in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement projectsRequirements/Qualifications3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environmentCapable of reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, including geometric tolerancingStrong communication skillsAbility to accurately calculate figures and amounts using basic math, applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and capable of performing basic statistical analysisCertifications in NDT testing, such as UT and/or mag particle, preferredMust be available and able to travel on occasionWilling and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when required.Excellent opportunity with a proven company.
