Description The PENTA Building Group is searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Las Vegas, NV! This position is fully in-person at our main office. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across all areas of the HR function to ensure efficient and effective processes related to employee lifecycle management. This role works closely with HR team members and department leaders across all regional locations to support recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, and record-keeping. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in helping maintain compliance, accuracy, and positive employee experiences. A PENTA HR Coordinator will also: General Benefits Administration
  • Serve as a liaison between the Human Resources and Payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely communication and coordination regarding benefit uploads, employee deductions, and related data entry. Collaborate to resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Update and manage tracking spreadsheets for FSA, DFSA, and HSA contributions and balances.
Department Support
  • Assist the Human Resources team with special projects and assignments, which may include coordinating training sessions, preparing reports, creating presentations, or supporting HR events and initiatives.
  • Assist in managing inventory of new hire materials and employee gifts ensuring adequate stock levels and timely ordering. Assemble and prepare welcome bags and gift packages for new hires and special occasions to support a professional, thoughtful, and engaging onboarding and employee experience.
  • Ensure timely submission of all receipts associated with the company ghost card and maintain accurate and organized records for reconciliation and tracking purposes
  • Manage and update content on The CORE (PENTA's intranet), ensuring information on benefits, policies, and internal resources remains accurate, relevant, and engaging.
  • Take ownership of weekly HR team meetings by preparing agendas, leading discussions, capturing detailed meeting notes, and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Track and follow up on action items, deliverables, and newly assigned HR initiatives or projects.
  • Draft and distribute Quarterly HR Emails to all employees, covering key HR topics such as benefit updates, policy changes, and company-wide announcements.
  • Coordinate employee travel and corporate housing arrangements as needed for relocations, assignments, or interviews.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics for candidates traveling to and from the airport for interviews or company visits.
  • Coordinate and distribute monthly employee birthday and anniversary announcements, promoting a culture of recognition and appreciation across the organization.
  • Support the administration of the Spot Bonus Program, including tracking nominations, coordinating approvals, and ensuring timely communication and processing of awards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and functionality of the Human Resources department.
We trust that you have:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Two+ years related experience and/or training
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint; experience with HRIS and benefits databases
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Ability to work in-person at our main office
