POSITION SUMMARY: Janitorial Team Member will routinely inspect and patrol the interior and exterior of the facility performing interior and exterior Janitorial duties including sweeping sidewalks/floors, wet mop sidewalks/floors. The Janitorial Team Member will also operate the steam cleaner, operate hand vacuum, clean and restock restrooms, gather trash and empty trash receptacles; operate compactor and turn trash carts. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Operate a variety of janitorial equipment to maintain cleanliness of the property
- Establish procedures to ensure completion of scheduled cleaning in various areas of the facility
- Maintain a professional, cooperative working relationship with management and all co-workers
- Perform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA standards) to promote a safe working environment
- Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, cleaning supplies, equipment and tools are maintained
- May perform additional duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
- Knowledge of safety rules, hazards, and able to apply accident prevention measures
- Able to work flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid driver's license
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors
- Facility has intermittent noise
