Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze the Phoenix II, web service, and batch business applications.
- Take the lead in analyzing and troubleshooting assigned system problems.
- Propose solutions.
- Code, test, promote, and interact with impacted users, ensuring that the solution meets requirements.
- Provide daily and weekly status updates to the development manager.
Required Skills
- 8 years of development with MicroFocus Visual COBOL in Windows Server 2019/2022, batch, and under IIS.
- 4 years of development using Visual Studio 2019/2022, including the ability to use the debugger.
- 4 years of application programming against RDBMS (Oracle, SQL).
Preferred Skills
- 5 years of ability to write complex queries using SQL for Oracle and MS SQL databases.
- 2 years of IIS configuration/setup experience.
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft C# .NET.
Required Education Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related discipline with 8 years of experience or a minimum of 10 years of related experience without a degree. Preferred Certifications
- MS Technical Certifications will be factored into the selection process.
- MicroFocus Certifications are a significant advantage.
