As the Director of Social Media, you will lead activity across our Healthfirst social platforms, with a focus on our priority channels: LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. You will build a vision for our brand in Social and have responsibility for both enhancing our foundation (e.g., channel strategy, community management, performance optimization) and spearheading development of content that connects with our target audience and prompts action. This role will report to the Vice President of Corporate Communications and manage 1-2 direct reports.Role & ResponsibilitiesDevelop a vision and strategy that differentiates Healthfirst on our social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, YouTube), aligned with the company's brand, reputation and business goalsDefine annual objectives for social media channels and measurement planLead content strategy to support key initiatives (e.g., marketing acquisition campaigns, community programs, business and leadership news, etc.) with exceptional writing and content development skillsLead the strategy and execution of social media campaigns (paid and organic)Manage all social media content calendars and will be responsible for the proactive ideation and creation of contentOversee monthly, and quarterly analytics reporting, providing clear insights to working teams, setting realistic project goals, and creating up-to-date benchmarkingWork cross-functionally to support teams including Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, Government RelationsWork closely with Creative and Production teams, ensuring our brand voice is consistent and collaborating to advance content that is visually engagingContinuously improve content concepts and social media strategies by analyzing content performance metrics, evaluating the competitive social and digital landscape, and embracing the latest features across various digital platformsInform the broader team on evolving best practices, trends and opportunities across all social media platforms that will influence other communications channelsCultivate and maintain solid relationships with media partners, such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google/YouTube, and moreContinuously monitor social media for community management opportunitiesManage 1-2 direct reportsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital, business or health/science-related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 8 years of demonstrated social media experience in a highly regulated industry3-5 years of management experienceProven success writing for social and online audiences and track record of resultsExperience with corporate communicationsStrong interpersonal skills: experience working across matrixed organizations to inform and produce contentHands-on experience creating social media campaigns and optimizing performanceDeep understanding of key short-term and long-term KPIs and measuring social successData-first thinker with a pulse on what's working, what's not and the ability to explain why – and collaborate on improvement as neededStrong curiosity and interest in continuous learning and staying up to date on online trends and audience behaviorVideo production experience and familiarity with editing and creator tools for social platformsDeep understanding of key short-term and long-term KPIs and measuring social successStrong organization skills and ability to balance attention to detail while staying focused on the big pictureSelf-starter; ability to advance strategy independentlyComfortable navigating ambiguity and excellent judgementPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in communications, marketing, digital, business or health/science-related field or equivalent experience10+ years of experience managing social media strategy and execution in a highly regulated industry7 years of management experienceHiring Range*:Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $150,800 - $230,690All Other Locations (within approved locations): $124,400 - $190,315As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
