Were looking for a Business Application Developer to help power our production floor by building and refining desktop applications that interact directly with our product firmware. In this role, youll create tools that support non-technical operators, streamline workflows, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. If youre passionate about clean, scalable code, are fluent in C#, .NET, and SQL, and are excited by the idea of bridging software with real-world hardware, this is your chance to bring meaningful change to the way things get built. What Youll Do
- Partner with engineers to design, build, and support desktop applications that seamlessly integrate with product firmware on the manufacturing floor.
- Create and maintain clean, intuitive Windows interfaces tailored for use by non-technical operators in a fast-paced production environment.
- Modernize and refactor legacy code to boost performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Evaluate existing user interfaces, SQL queries, and workflows to uncover opportunities for improvement and deliver smarter solutions.
- Write scalable, well-structured code that adapts to changing manufacturing needs and supports ongoing feature development.
- Leverage Git for version control and collaborate with team members through structured code reviews and thoughtful deployment planning.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications What You BringExperience That Drives Success
- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with the following programs or languages: .NET, SQL, Git, PHP, Python Scripting Languages, PowerShell, Linux.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems like Epicor is a plus!
- Proficiency in developing Windows desktop applications.
