Job Title: Project Architect

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking a Project Architect to join our Advanced Manufacturing + Industrial studio, which may also include projects in Aerospace & Technology markets. Candidates should be Licensed Architects (or possess equivalent experience) with a background in workplace or interior architecture projects.

The Project Architect will oversee most phases of technical project development, working under a Project Manager. Responsibilities include evaluating and applying architectural techniques, writing reports and specifications, reviewing submittals, observing construction in the field, and coordinating with consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • License or equivalent experience as an Architect.
  • Collaborate with the project team and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Assist the project manager with designated tasks.
  • Lead architectural techniques and procedures within the team.
  • Demonstrate expertise in BIM techniques and applications.
  • Contribute to documentation, detailing, and project responsibilities.
  • Self-manage project tasks and proactively engage in project development.
  • Support energy and sustainability strategies.
  • Assist in preparing and writing specifications.
  • Perform QA/QC processes and review submittals, RFIs, pay applications, etc.
  • Observe and oversee on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate and support consultants' work.
  • Engage regularly with owners and contractors.
  • Mentor and lead junior staff members.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
    • Proficiency in Revit preferred; essential use of BIM software and visualization methods.
    • Minimum of 2 years of architectural experience.
    • Annual base salary ranges from $65,000 to $95,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
