SUMMARY

The Content Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing team with various Marketing functions and initiatives, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the department to raise brand awareness and generate more interest. Additionally, this role will focus on select Marketing projects, such as creating, editing, and publishing content for various channels.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Maintains consistent brand voice and messaging across all product verticals and channels (website, social media, email, collateral).
  • Coordinates with writers, designers, and marketing team to create cohesive on-brand content. Supports the creation of Marketing collateral. Edits and proofreads content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Works closely with the Marketing team to create social media-related communications, develop/maintain the calendar, and analyze related reporting.
  • Optimizes content for SEO, including keyword research and website SEO improvements. Analyzes the SEO reports and keyword database to make necessary recommendations.
  • Organizes and manages digital asset libraries and ensures easy access for the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Researches competitor and market activity and their digital presence, including social media activity, thought leadership presence online, and industry engagements.
  • Assists and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support internal requests regarding presentations or content.
  • Leads company-wide efforts for nominations and submissions to industry award entities.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Contact as needed with clients regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
  • Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.

May perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of marketing experience including comprehensive writing and editing experience.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.

  • Expert in content optimization, managing project deadlines, and brand voice consistency.
  • Troubleshoots issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.

Equivalent KSAs, education, and experience will be considered.
