Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.As a Data Center Senior Project Architect at HDR you will work on projects in a variety of sectors with a focus on technology and data center projects. You'll be working closely with the multi-disciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors throughout the United States. In the role of Data Center Senior Project Architect, we'll count on you to:Have mastery in technical design concepts, design management skills, digital technologies, and design workflow for Data Centers and other Technical FacilitiesLead owner/client and internal meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceManage architecture team and undertake design activities and the production of detailed documents required for constructionReview architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesPerform QA/QC and cross discipline technical reviewsWrite and edit architectural specificationsCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change ordersIncorporate agreed-upon changes into project documentsProvide construction observation and contract administration as neededConduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with Client Representatives, Project Managers and other disciplinesPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsPrior experience working on the design and documentation of Data CentersDemonstrated graphic presentation skills with knowledge of Blue Beam pdf editorLEED Accreditation with experience and/or interest in sustainable design10 years' experience of working on similar project typologiesPreference given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related fieldA minimum of 10 years experienceRegistered ArchitectExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)Excellent written and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processDemonstrated graphic presentation skillsMust have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specificationsStrong knowledge of codes and good planning skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR is our company. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
