Systems Administrator Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our client's team in Ogallala, Nebraska. In this role, you will manage and maintain essential IT systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage Active Directory to ensure secure and efficient user access and directory services.
- Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, including updates, backups, and performance optimization.
- Provide support and management for Citrix technologies to enable seamless application delivery and virtualization.
- Configure and maintain VMware environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems.
- Perform regular system checks and monitoring to ensure optimal functionality and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions and improve system workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all IT operations.
- Monitor and assess system performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory, including user and group policies.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with Citrix technologies and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with VMware setup and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new systems quickly.
