FlexStaff is seeking a full-time Orthotic Fitter to join our client's team at their New Haven location. This role will include inventory control and ordering plus assisting patients in being fit with off-the-shelf orthotic devices such as braces, supports, and other orthopedic equipment.

Responsibilities:
Assist with fitting and adjusting prefabricated orthotic devices under the supervision of a certified clinician
Educate patients on proper use, care, and wear schedules for orthotic devices
Support clinical staff with patient intake, documentation, and follow-up care
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care and fitting areas
Ensure inventory and supplies are adequately stocked and organized
Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Will be on call every 3rd or 4th weekend of the month, pay differential will be offered for on call hours
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Willingness to learn and work as part of a collaborative team
Ability to lift, carry, and position orthotic equipment and assist patients as needed
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required
Preferred Backgrounds (not required):
Athletic Trainers (ATC)
Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA)
Physical Therapy Aides
Graduates or students of Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or related fields

The salary range for this position is $21-$25/hour
