Join our team today and immerse yourself in a rewarding career for years to come! As a Youth Development Specialist, you will work in a school-based setting located in Trenton, Mercer County NJ. The school-based youth services program (SBYSP) provides health and social services to youth in Mercer and Camden Counties with the goal of helping students finish their education, obtain skills leading to employment or continuing education and graduate healthy and drug free. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm; On-Site Responsibilities:
  • Develop programming that build youth capability, connectedness to school, community, and caring adults
  • Provide non-clinical counseling to youth on a variety of life-skills/healthy youth development topics
  • Identify and conduct appropriate job training programs for youth; assist in job readiness and search

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BSW) in social service field with 1 year experience working with youth in a group setting OR;
  • Associate's degree with at least three (3) years' full time experience working with youth and families;
  • Valid Driver's License required.
