Job Summary: The Office of Admission is seeking an energetic professional to serve as an Admission Counselor. This part-time role will support the Counseling Recruitment Team as well as have a designated recruitment territory to meet the stated recruitment goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent Delaware Valley University in recruitment travel to college fairs, high schools, and other off-campus events to a in order to meet stated goals
- Build and cultivate relationships with and assist prospective students and families throughout all phases of the admission process (inquiry through enrollment)
- Conduct interviews, appointments and group information sessions for prospective students and their families when needed
- Conduct and maintain regular phone, email, direct mail, and other contact with prospective students and their parents throughout admissions/enrollment process
- Develop in-depth knowledge about DelVal and the academic and extracurricular programs, and articulate these messages to prospective students, families, guidance counselors and the community
- Review of Application Process in designated recruitment territory
- Build relationships with parents, guidance counselors, DelVal academic departments and other constituents of the Admission Office
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- No prior experience necessary
- Valid Driver's License

- Travel (>1000 mi/month) during the peak recruitment seasons of September - November/March - May
- Occasional lifting 25 lbs. or less
