As a compassionate Massage Therapist, you will deliver specialized massage therapy services directed by the Clinical Director to enhance our patients' quality of life. Your expertise will be integral to our holistic approach in addressing the emotional and physical discomforts experienced by individuals in hospice care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer massage therapy interventions that alleviate symptoms such as anxiety, pain, stiffness, and lack of sleep, promoting overall relaxation and comfort.
- Conduct thorough assessments to ensure therapy is tailored to the patient's needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of your treatments.
- Deliver treatments aimed at relieving patient discomfort and enhancing their quality of life.
- Keep the clinical supervisor or director informed about patients' responses to treatment and any changes observed in their condition.
- Maintain accurate records including clinical notes and problem charting, ensuring documentation is updated within 24-48 hours of each session.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training.
- Preferred completion of the National Certification Exam (NCTMB).
- Possess current licenses or certifications as mandated by state law.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable, insured automobile.
