Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and report any illegal activities promptly.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and identify any unsafe conditions.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, making them feel important and appreciated.
  • Keep workstations and customer areas clean and organized.
  • Understand and manage computerized inventory control for non-legend drugs.
  • Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Promote sales and services to enhance customer experience.
  • Efficiently handle various payment transactions while adhering to company policies on cash handling and coupons.
  • Deliver excellent customer care during product dispensing, in accordance with state laws.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly and respectfully.
  • Assist customers of all ages and abilities, providing exceptional support.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Background in customer service roles such as cashiering and phone support.
  • Experience in inventory control within a retail context.
