QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor of Social Work or related field
- Experience working with families in social services context
- Valid driver's license with properly registered and insured vehicle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Time management and multi-tasking skills
- Writing and communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Facilitate the movement of children through the permanency process 2. Facilitate child placements and avoid placement disruptions; provide crisis management and supportive counseling to resource parents 3. Recruit adoptive homes for special needs children 4. Conduct adoptive home studies and prepare Family and Child Profiles 5. Attend court for all adoption and finalization hearings, provide post-adoption referrals and provide post-placement and post-legalization services to adoptive families
