JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across the portfolio, ensuring each hotel's marketing plan is aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
  • Guide and oversee eCommerce and digital marketing partners, ensuring campaigns are strategically aligned and performance optimized.
  • Shape the brand voice and storytelling approach for each hotel, ensuring consistency across website, email, social media, digital ads, public relations, and visual content.
  • Partner with PR, influencer marketing, and social media teams to build earned media visibility and foster guest engagement.
  • Concept and promote on-property experiences, packages, and local activations that drive direct bookings and brand differentiation.
  • Cultivate local marketing partnerships and community collaborations that enhance brand equity and increase exposure in key feeder markets.
  • Analyze marketing performance and make data-informed recommendations to optimize spend and enhance ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including General Managers, Sales & Revenue leaders, and corporate Centers of Excellence to support holistic commercial success.
  • Manage internal and external resources, including agency and media partners, with a focus on accountability, creativity, and performance.
  • Serve as a thought partner in developing enterprise-wide marketing strategies and scalable campaigns that enhance the portfolio's market presence.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • Proven success leading marketing strategy for hotels and/or resorts.
  • Deep understanding of hospitality marketing disciplines including brand development, content strategy, paid media, public relations, and experiential activation.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize business goals, guest insights, and market data into compelling marketing plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills-able to align and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence and collaborate across levels and functions.
  • Passion for innovation, brand building, and creating emotional connections with guests.
  • Familiarity with hotel and marketing tech systems (e.g., CMS, CRM, media platforms, and analytics tools).
  • Experience managing media strategy and performance.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in hospitality marketing, preferably with oversight of digital partners and agency teams.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical skills relative to impact on hotel revenues
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, focus on Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Must have flexible work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
