Position Summary: The Supervisor of Workforce Solutions/Timekeeping supervises the Workforce Solutions/Timekeeping department and coordinates a variety of routine to complex workforce/timekeeping activities to ensure the timekeeping system data information is accurate and policies are maintained. Responsibilities Essential Functions: • Supervise the workforce solutions/timekeeping team members and perform all supervisory duties including ensuring work is complete, and provides mentoring, support, inclusion and ensures performance goals are met. • Provides active direction to team members. • Structure department workload to allow the correct prioritization of tasks and projects to meet company goals. • Utilize problem solving skills and critical thinking to accomplish tasks. • Communicates clearly, concisely and frequently with workforce solutions/timekeeping departmental leadership. • Provides end user support for managers, schedulers and timekeepers with the timekeeping system. • Supervises and coordinates training activities for managers, schedulers and timekeepers. • Stays current with updates to timekeeping and scheduling policies and procedures. • Monitors timekeeping activities and ensures daily corrections are made to ensure optimum performance. • Facilitates adherence to Orlando Health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational guidelines. • Identifies and reports non-compliance with pay policies and practices to appropriate persons including site leadership, corporate payroll, human resources and other areas. • Works with confidential and sensitive information including, but not limited to, team member data and organizational data related to timekeeping and scheduling documentation. • Ensures all deadlines are met, including daily time and attendance input. • Monitors and addresses missed punches on a daily basis and ensures they are at a reasonable level. • Provides answers to questions from team members regarding the timekeeping system. • Researches and resolves team member and/or system problems in conjunction with operations leadership, payroll, human resources and other areas. • Maintains active communication with payroll and human resources to resolve problems. • Creates and maintains databases and spreadsheets as directed. • Interacts professionally with all levels of management and team members. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions: • Serves as super user for the time and attendance system. • Stays abreast of software upgrades and new functionality for the system as it becomes available. Qualifications Education/Training • Bachelor's degree. Associate degree and two (2) years of direct related work experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section). • Excellent mathematical and verbal communication skills required. • Work requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. Licensure/Certification None. Experience Four (4) years of experience with timekeeping and/or scheduling of related activities.
