About the Role
Join our dynamic team as the Director of Fundraising and Advancement, a crucial position where you will lead efforts to secure essential funding for our foundation. We are looking for a strategic leader with a solid history in fundraising and advancement. You will set ambitious fundraising goals and develop comprehensive strategies while ensuring all initiatives align with our mission of promoting educational access and student success.
As the primary liaison to the Foundation's Board, you will provide vital leadership in strategic planning and governance while enhancing community engagement. Candidates must be passionate about educational equity and possess at least 5 years of fundraising experience, particularly in cultivating major gifts. Your proven ability to lead and manage a high-performing team will be key, as well as your exceptional communication skills and donor-centered approach to building relationships.
In addition to fundraising, you will oversee organizational management and fiscal responsibilities. Participation in community events to promote a culture of philanthropy is expected. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for CFRE certification or advanced degree and expertise in donor database systems and fundraising software.
