Food Packaging Warehouse Worker General job duties
- Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.
- Adjust and run all equipment on packaging line.
- Assist in seasoning and preparing product for packaging.
- Making minor repairs to the production equipment when necessary
- Assist in building and packaging products for shipping to customers.
Responsibilities
- Notifies appropriate personnel of quality and production line problems.
- Accurately completes required reports and records.
- Participates in cleaning.
- Keeps the work area neat, clean, and orderly while following proper sanitation procedures and good manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills a plus
- Good flexibility and able to adjust well to different assignments from day to day.
- Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
- Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software.
- Basic mathematical skills to create production calculations.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
- Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, and twist.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $17.00
