This position works in an open office environment. A working knowledge of forestry and timber harvesting procedures & practices is preferred but not necessary. Operates office equipment such as personal computer, telephone, calculator, photocopier, postage meter, and other equipment as required. Proficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs accounts receivable/payable duties to include:
  • Receives and reconciles scale receipts to determine accuracy
  • Enters scale receipts into database system
  • Reconciles reports with scale receipts to determine accuracy before payment reports are generated
  • Distributes weekly reports to designated personnel
  • Maintains up to date instructions for processing wood scale in the Office Procedures Manual
  • Enter road invoices in data base system for payment
  • Administrative Tasks
  • Performs general office tasks as assigned
  • Produces various reports as assigned to assist operations team and client personnel
  • Maintains various records as assigned
  • Assist with recreational lease administration
  • Receives mail from post office daily and distributes to staff..
  • Prepares outgoing mail and delivers to the post office on a daily basis observing the post office daily cut off delivery schedule. Maintains postage meter and replenishes meter as needed. Also prepares Federal Express transmittal forms and schedules pickups.
  • Participates in department cross training
  • Participates in department safety training and observes safe working habits
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements and Preferred Competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in business or three years of recent experience in an Administrative Support role is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including the use of Adobe, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicant's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. U.S. Market-Based Salary Range Office Clerk [$20.00 - $23.00] In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
