Job Summary W e a re se eking a Structural AutoCad Designer to support structural design activities from concept through construction. This role involves close collaboration with engineering leads and other discipline teams to deliver high-quality structural design packages using tools such as AVEVA (E3D) and AutoCAD. Job Description
- Develop structural design drawing packages using AVEVA (E3D), AutoCAD, and other tools.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Structural Engineer and other team disciplines.
- Ensure designs comply with industry codes, regulations, and internal design standards.
- Assist in maintaining and updating structural design standards and documentation.
- Prioritize and execute work within defined scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings based on input and files provided by the engineering team.
- Generate plans and detail drawings from sketches and redline markups.
- Support the enhancement of CAD and AVEVA (E3D) standards.
- Coordinate and maintain project models using MS Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and AVEVA (E3D).
- Follow established quality control and project management procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, goal-oriented team environment.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
S kills Required
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural drafting and design experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, AVEVA (E3D), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
Education
- Associate's degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent experience.
Pay Rate
- $40 per hour and higher depending on experience
