Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists the doctor in ortho procedures
  • Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
  • Prophy teeth
  • Chart and treatment plan with doctor
  • Sterilizes instruments
  • Setup and prepares rooms for ortho treatment
  • Take IO's
  • Charting
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Certification from a dental college OR 12 months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
  • BIlingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant License
  • X-Ray Certification
  • Coronal Polish Certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • ortho experience a plus
