Job Description :

Oversee staff and patient scheduling for optimal patient satisfaction and provider efficiency. Serve as liaison between patient and clinical staff. Coordinate and maintain the clinic and provider schedules, including template generation and maintenance. Provide administrative assistance to providers and other clinic staff.   • Maintain accurate and timely provider schedules to ensure minimum of 3-month open schedule access.
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership to ensure balanced staffing plan.
  • Complete daily system staff report.
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership to ensure efficient space utilization and patient flow with assigned schedules.
  • Update and create new templates for new providers, provider changes, and specialty clinics as directed by Systems Scheduling Manager.
  • Assist as needed in the coordination of general orientation for providers.
  • Serve as operations lead for efficient staffing to plan for continuity and acute care patient access.
  • Support inbound outbound patient calls as appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not supervise any staff
Work EnvironmentThe primary environment is an administrative office. This role requires regular walking, bending, stooping. Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Travel RequirementsMay require some travel between clinic sites for meeting, trainings and covering staff as needed. Education and Experience
  • High school graduation or equivalent required. Bachelor Degree in business, health administration or medical field preferred.
  • 0-2 years' experience in call center, business office, or related medical field.
  • At least one years' experience in a community health center or ambulatory clinic preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
