Position Type: Monitor/Bus Monitor Date Posted: 11/4/2024 Location: Plainville Schools Bus Monitors - All Schools Must have the ability to independently supervise students with behavioral or other special needs, collect data about student issues, and follow behavior management plans as requested by school administrators. Excellent communication skills required. Must be reliable and have a positive attitude. All other experience and/or qualifications will be considered. Some assignments include travel on the bus to and from Hartford for our Open Choice program. Hours vary based on bus route (0.5 to 2 hours per route per day). Internal Candidates (Total hours cannot exceed 8 hours per day): Paraprofssional Internal Candidate- Current Rate of Pay RBT/Tutor Candidate - $22.13 Lunch Monitor Candidate - $19.49 External candidates - $15.69 to $19.49 depending on skills and experience Application Procedure: Complete our online application accessed through www.plainvilleschools.org and attach cover letter, resume, and 3 references. Bus monitor pay rate may be different from the rate for your current position.
