A Parts Driver/Stock person is responsible and will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our organization along with gathering auto parts from inventory. The job description of a parts driver includes the following below but are not limited to: Responsibilities:
- Pulling parts return and restocking of shelves.
- Gathering parts to fulfill orders at the auto shop
- Checking in and receiving parts accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness, stocking/restocking
- Performing safe parts pick-up
- Keeping parts department up-to-date
- Assisting in the everyday activities and various chores in the shop
- Placing warranty parts in the storage area daily. Weekly cleaning of warranty scrap.
- Driving: picking up parts from local vendors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in parts operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift objects and operate material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- MUST HAVE A CA DL, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
