In this position, you will provide professional radiation therapy, following clinical protocols to administer radiation treatments for diagnosis and therapy in patient care. Salary: $58,899 - $93,942 per year Radiation Therapist Role Overview:Custom Radiation Treatment: Deliver individualized radiation therapies, working closely with the oncology team to maintain the highest standard of patient care. Position Details: Full-time, permanent, direct-hire role. Work Hours: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM (5x8 schedule). Patient Guidance: Educate patients on the treatment process, answering their questions and providing reassurance to ensure they feel supported and informed. Treatment Plan Execution: Administer radiation therapies as outlined in patient-specific treatment plans, ensuring precision and adherence to medical protocols. Qualifications Needed:
- ARRT Registration: Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
- Licensure: Must have a Texas Medical Board - Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License.
- BLS Certification: A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Radiologic Technologist License: Must hold a valid license to practice radiologic technology in Texas.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of linear accelerators, CT scanners, and personal computer systems for treatment delivery and documentation.
