About the job Project Manager We're partnering with a civil construction firm to conduct a search for a Project Manager. Position Details: Title: Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager Location: Regional projects within company market (travel to job sites required) Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to specification
- Lead project planning, scheduling (CPM), financial management, billing, forecasting, and cost control
- Supervise project staff including Superintendents, Foremen, and craft workers
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Monitor job site safety and enforce company safety standards
- Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and negotiations
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and administrative compliance
- Actively participate in business development and client relationship management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience managing construction projects
- Strong project financial management and cost control skills
- Knowledge of construction contracts, law, and industry best practices
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project Management, and Estimating software
- Ability to travel regionally and conduct physical site inspections
