About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Pharmacy to lead the development and execution of the enterprise pharmacy strategy. This senior executive role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, benefit management, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the pharmacy enterprise strategy in alignment with corporate goals, clinical outcomes, and cost containment initiatives. Key duties include leading the oversight of PBM vendors, guiding formulary management, and ensuring the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy programs. The role also involves close collaboration with various teams to drive the integration of pharmacy-related strategic initiatives into population health efforts and to ensure that pharmacy benefits meet the needs of members and employers. Applicants for the Vice President, Pharmacy position at the company should hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and have a minimum of 15 years' relevant pharmacy experience, with at least 5 years in a PBM, health plan, or managed care setting. A strong background in leading enterprise pharmacy strategy, managing PBM performance, and implementing clinical pharmacy programs is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cost containment strategies, deep knowledge of pharmacy benefit management structures, and strong financial acumen. Leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive change in a dynamic healthcare environment are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in government-sponsored programs, board certification, and a Master's degree in a related field.
