Summary The Fortis Bank Client Services Associate is responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming and well-organized experience for our clients and our people. The ideal candidate will be able to undertake a variety of client and support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This individual will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. - Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls and e-mails.
- Perform daily Bank opening procedures and closing procedures.
- Maintain a bank teller drawer and workstation, performing standard teller transactions for clients as needed.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the Client Services team with relation to account servicing, maintenance, and other client service requests.
- Develop a fundamental understanding of the banking industry, as well as a complete understanding of products and services offered to our clients.
- Follow all internal policies and procedures to ensure the bank is operating in a compliant manner.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in client service, hospitality, and/or office administration.
- Embodies the Fortis Bank culture principles and competencies and consistently demonstrating a positive, ambitious, and solution-oriented attitude with clients and team members.
- Proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office suite products and technology, including but not limited to: Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to adapt to systems and technology, including but not limited to: client relationship management tools, conference room management and teleconferencing systems and tools, banking core systems, and other common office management products.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and via e-mail and other chat tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, regularly demonstrating the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships with senior management, peers, and team members throughout the Bank.
