Recruiting Specialist We are seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our growing team at Applied Control. Recruiting Specialist Responsibilities:
- Work within the team along with hiring managers to develop, implement, and facilitate the full-cycle recruitment process.
- Implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Primarily responsible for job postings and advertisement processes using various sources such as social media networks, the applicant tracking system, and employee referrals.
- Qualify candidates by reviewing applications, phone screening, and assessing skills.
- Schedule interviews, oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Manages the pre-employment process including drug testing, background screening, and onboarding.
- Manages all associated data entry and records management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Recruiting Specialist Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process strongly preferred.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruiting.
- Able to manage and juggle multiple recruiting projects at the same time, keeping all the plates in the air.
- Ability to learn and utilize applicant-tracking software or other HR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strongly detail oriented when handling HRIS activities and records,
- Ability to build trust and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity and professionalism in handling confidential work.
- Ability to interact professionally, positively, and respectfully with tact and discretion in all situations.
- Ability to take initiative in a proactive, collaborative manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft.
Recruiting Specialist Working Conditions: Includes working primarily in an office setting, with occasional assignments outside the office. This position may require a flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours on an infrequent basis. The role is a full-time onsite position with office hours of 7:30AM to 4:30PM. Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, bending, stooping, lifting & carrying. Ability to sit for extended periods of time working on a PC. Ability to reach frequently with both hands and arms and operate standard office equipment. Ability to lift boxes of moderate weight (+/- 20 to 25 pounds) and carry them short distances. Recruiting Specialist Compensation: Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 annual salary. Prior work or industry experience as well as job-related education and unique skills will be taken into consideration when setting the wage rate.
