About the Role As a dental assistant, you will enhance the efficiency of the dental office as well as provide a relaxed, friendly, and welcoming environment creating a positive experience for patients. What You'll Do • Support both the dentist and patients with a variety of tasks. • Assist with patient preparation, providing comfort and explaining procedures. • Offer clinical support during dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing dental materials. • Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. • Ensure instruments are property sterilized, and that the treatment area is clean and organized. • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care. • Expose and develop diagnostic dental x-rays and perform routing maintenance and cleaning of dental operatory equipment. What We're Looking For • High School Diploma or equivalent • A minimum of 1 years' experience working as a Dental Assistant is desired. • Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program/technical school. Additional training may substitute for required experience. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds. • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
