Title : RN - Endo Location : Geneva NY 14456 Duration : 13 weeks Shifts: 6:30am/7:30am-15:30/16:30 (4-day x 9hr/day contracts) D/N/W/H rotation with full call rotation (see below for details) SHIFTS START 6:30AM (PRE-OP ENDO) 7AM (CIRCULATOR/TECH ENDO) OR 7:30AM (POST OP ENDO) DEPENDENT UPON ASSIGNED ROLE FOR THE DAY (AKA SHIFT START TIME 6:30-7:30AM 36 Hours per week PLUS CALL (1 hour call response time). call rotation which includes two full weekends of call and one weekday/week per Response time 1 hours; NO WEEKENDS/NO HOLIDAYS EXCEPT CALL. Complete Description: 6-8 DAYS OF CALL PER MONTH, WHICH MUST INCLUDE 1 FRIDAY, 1 SATURDAY AND 1 SUNDAY. RESPONSE TIME IS 1 HOUR FOR ENDO RN. The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care to patients and families. The Registered Professional Nurse assesses patient need, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates the care delivery throughout the patient's episode. The Endo RN develops specialized skill in the area of patient admitted for medical conditions. He/She provides care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions. The Endo RN is accountable for patient family education to assist in understanding self care beyond hospitalization, including lifestyle changes to support health and healing. The Endo Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and provide emotional support in a Healing Environment. Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move NYS RN Licensure Required 1 Years One (1) Year Experience serving in Endo Environment as a Registered Nurse Required 1 Years BLS, ACLS, PALS Required Questions: Question 1 Have you worked at any of the FLH Locations in the last two years? (Geveva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Living Center North, Living Center South, Finger Lakes Medical PC, The Homestead, Huntington Living Center) Question 2 If Yes, how long has it been since you worked there and what location were you at? Question 3 Do you reside outside of the 30-mile radius for the facility you're applying for? Question 4 Floating between GGH And SSMH is expected. Are you willing, ready, and able to float between departments and locations as long as you have been oriented to that unit population? Question 5 Do you have any RTO?
