Join our dedicated team at Home Instead! We are searching for part-time Certified Home Health Aides to provide compassionate care and support for aging adults in their homes. At Home Instead, we offer non-medical services designed to enhance the comfort and safety of seniors as they navigate the challenges of aging with dignity and respect.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation
• Performing light housekeeping duties and preparing meals
• Offering medication reminders and assisting with appointments
• Supporting clients with grooming and bathing
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
• Providing specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's

While prior caregiving experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. All new hires will undergo comprehensive training tailored by Home Instead, including in-house certification for Personal Care tasks. This training ensures that you feel confident in assisting clients with grooming, bathing, continence care, and mobility, allowing you to support their overall well-being—emotional, physical, and mental.

To qualify as a Home Instead Certified Home Health Aide, you must meet the following requirements:

• Demonstrate the ability to treat and care for aging adults with dignity and respect
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Exhibit reliability and trustworthiness
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
• Hold a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance, if driving clients
• Be available to work between 15 to 40 hours per week
• Possess a current HHA license in New Jersey
