Client Overview:Out client is a forward-thinking investment management firm committed to helping individuals, institutions, and organizations grow and preserve their wealth. Their team is now looking for a Compensation Consultant (Contract). Salary/Hourly Rate:$55/hr - $65/hr Position Overview:The Compensation Consultant (Contract) will support the compensation team in delivering key compensation programs and administrative processes during the employee's leave. The contractor will focus on specific, high-priority tasks to ensure continuity in compensation services and projects. This contract role is schedule to be 5 months with possible extension. Responsibilities of the Compensation Consultant (Contract):
- Compensation Program Support.
- Support year-end merit, equity, and incentive compensation processes.
- Assist with job evaluations and internal equity assessments.
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation survey data.
- Compensation Analysis and Reporting.
- Analyze and summarize market survey results to support compensation decisions.
- Prepare data reports and visualizations for leadership and HRBPs.
- Develop communication tools and training materials on compensation practices.
- Client Support.
- Advise HR Business Partners and managers on compensation guidelines, salary recommendations, and market data interpretation.
- Respond to compensation-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Project and Systems Support.
- Assist in planning and coordinating mid-sized compensation projects.
- Partner with HRIS to maintain data integrity in Workday and related systems.
Required Experience/Skills for the Compensation Consultant (Contract):
- 6+ years of compensation experience, including base salary and incentive compensation.
- Ability to develop strong, credible relationships with client groups; previous experience working in a consultative environment a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with WorkDay.
- Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations, including FLSA.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Compensation Consultant (Contract):
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with Workday strongly preferred.
- Background in financial services highly desirable and prioritized during selection process.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
